Can your towing team unlock my car for me?

When you call up our dispatchers, simply describe the issue-whether you’ve lost your keys or they’re locked inside-the make and model of the car, and your location, and we’ll have your auto opened up in a jiffy.

How do I know if I need my tires replaced or just patched up?

We understand completely the client’s anxieties over tire replacements. We’re familiar with the time, effort, and cost that are involved in a complete replacement of a tire. That’s why our towing professionals work extra diligently to determine whether or not they can simply repair a damaged tire instead of being compelled to replace that tire entirely. However, if in certain circumstances, a tire replacement is required, an alternative should never be considered. Driving on a tire that must really be removed and replaced is quite serious. We would never recommend a customer endanger her or his car, and possibly her or his life, by traveling on such an unsafe object.

Can you unlock my car with electric locks or side-impact airbags?

Yes. Our drivers are trained Car Lockout specialists who carry an ever increasing array of vehicle unlocking tools. NEVER let an untrained person attempt to unlock your vehicle! Your doors internal mechanisms and wires are very fragile.

Does it cost more to get towed on a weekend or a holiday?

No. Not at Hawaii Towing Company Inc. We actually prefer the lighter weekend traffic because we can finish your tow quicker.

Can you tow motorcycles?

Is towing rough on my car?

No. Quite the opposite. Since your car is lifted by it’s tires, it is riding on your own suspension. And the tow truck’s suspension absorbs most of the bump

My car is all-wheel-drive, does it require a flatbed tow truck?

No. Conventional tow trucks are capable of lifting all wheels off the ground.

My car has an automatic transmission; can it be towed with the drive wheels on the ground?

Probably, Most manufactures say yes, for a limited speed and distance.

How do I know if I need a flabed?

If your car is 4-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, or have a flat tire opposite of drive axle (example: You have a front flat on a rear wheel drive car) you will need a flatbed. If you have excessive damage due to an accident, or you have a rear wheel drive car on the highway. A car with ground effects may need a flatbed as well. We recommend a flatbed for “exotic, antique and project cars”, and any car that has been modified from the manufacturers original production may need special handling with special straps to secure it to the flatbed.

Do I have to be with the vehicle to get a tow?

No, you do not need to be with the vehicle to get a tow as long as you leave the keys with the car and let us know how you are paying. (Example: You are paying by check but are unable to meet the driver, our dispatchers would calculate the mileage and should be able to give you the price therefore you may leave the check in the vehicle along with the keys, common places keys are left are: under the floor mat, above the visor, in the gas flap, in the ignition, on the tire.) You just need to let our dispatchers know where you will be leaving the key.

  As soon as I made the call the owner responded. He then had a truck sent out to my home in about 30 minuets. The owner showed great care for my car and my time. To complete the transaction he invited me into his truck and we completed the payment process in under 2 minuets. This is an excellent business and I would happily use it again the next time I have car troubles.

  I was on my way home from Sam's Club when my vehicle started to over heat.  Contacted my mechanic and he advised to have it towed.  My insurance's roadside assistance service quoted 1.5 to 2 hours for arrival .  I was like hell no!  I looked online and found Hawaii Towing Company.  They didnt answer at first, but a couple of minutes later received a call back from George. (Come to find out he didn't answer at first because he just came out the water on the North Shore!) George came to the rescue in about half hour on a Sunday afternoon! Not to mention their services were cheaper!  George was very pleasant and professional and easy to talk to on the way to Waianae.  If ever we need a tow again (hopefully not), we have his cell number in our phone book and will be calling him again!  Definitely worth every penny spent!

  George is one solid Braddah! Found out last minute that we had tow our dually that was sitting at our family house because the landlord wanted it gone. Called a bunch of tow company’s close by and no one picked up the phone. Called George and he came within an hour! The truck was hard to move, we could barely move the steering wheel to reverse it back for him to hook up to his tow truck. He hooked the truck up to his winch and pulled the truck right out. Towed the truck from Kahaluu to Kahuku. Overall all experience was a hundred. If we are ever in need of service, he will definitely be the first we call. Mahalo George!

I called at 8 pm and he was quick to answer on the second ring George was at my location by 8:30 pm and my Sequoia was on his truck ready to go shortly after. George was very professional and  I would highly recommend Hawaii Towing Company to anyone needing tow services. I will be saving his number in my contacts just in case I ever need help again.   Stuck on freeway at midnight. This company was hired by my insurance for my tow and I was lucky enough to meet the driver. Very professional attitude and humble guy. I would definitely recommend to anybody that is needing a tow. Due to Covid, some company won't let you ride along during the tow. This guy (I won't mention names) made me ride and the tow truck is very clean. I will definitely be calling if I need a tow. Thanks for saving me out there. Peace!!!!

  Accommodating, great music taste, and easy to work with!! Highly recommend ✨ Our car stalled out in an elementary school parking lot on the north shore, George was there quickly and able to help us out after the elementary pick up line cleared.
